Welcome to
Project Life Unlocked

Project Life Unlocked is a digital guidance and resource booklet for students seeking post-graduation help. The resource was designed with Lone Star College students in mind to serve the LSC community and aid students in their transition to the next chapter of their life!

About Project Life Unlocked

Project Life Unlocked was born out of an idea that creator and coordinator, Daylen Heidt, had after their 2024 Fall semester at Lone Star College-Tomball. The idea just came to Daylen one day. A booklet that focused on students need post-graduation from LSC. Perhaps it was because Daylen was a soon-to-be graduate in the incoming Spring of 2025, but they knew that they wanted to help others and knew that this was their gift back to LSC for changing their life.In the Spring semester of 2025, Daylen had reached out to Honors and International Education students and LifePATH students to create a team that would ultimately decide the future of the project.Over the course of 11 weeks and 11 meetings, the team brainstormed endless ideas on post-graduation guidance. In order to do this, they critically thought about what they most wanted to know about. Through this lens, the team became excited and steadfast in their mission: to help students just like them.Any questions they had, they knew other students would as well. While LSC provides numerous resources for students, the team wanted to offer a fresh student perspective that allowed for an ultimate allocation of resources in one single document. This way, students could have Project Life Unlocked on the go, with them, wherever their journey led them. The team learned a lot throughout the semester, but found great joy in the connection with each other. They played games, were sincerely connected, and found joy in the excitement of graduating. They started as a team, but left as friends.Project Life Unlocked is what happens when students are in a supportive environment that allows their ideas to thrive. The team is deeply grateful to Dr. Ginnett, Mrs. Kendra Wagner, and Prof. Ava Veselis for their unwavering support as faculty.
